Tarotscopes – Week of November 27th
Welcome to Tarotscopes – guidance from the cards for the week ahead based on your zodiac sign!
This week I’m using my first, and favourite deck – Prisma Visions Tarot by James R. Eads.
Want a more multifaceted message? Check your Moon and Rising signs as well. Not sure what they are? Visit Astro Cafe to find out!
The Empress Reversed & The Moon: There’s been a lot of active, masculine energy present lately, and while this can be wonderful for getting things done, it’s time to really focus on the receptive, feminine side of yourself. Make time for self-care, to ground yourself, and make room for creative and spiritual growth. Don’t rush through anything; nurturing is key and trying to force things won’t be fruitful.
You may feel a blow to the confidence or have difficulty embracing that powerful, feminine energy. Take it slow, and don’t be afraid to shine a light into the shadows. It’ll be easy to have your imagination run wild, so be sure to take control by seeing things with clarity, not through a distorted lens.
Challenge for the week: Make time to ground yourself this week; plant your feet firmly on the ground, and connect to the earth around you. Be mindful of your body, and the sensations you feel. Try a grounding exercise at least three times.
Six of Pentacles & Ten of Wands: You have a tendency to be loyal and generous, Taurus, and this is a great week to give back in a way that you feel comfortable. Remember, generosity doesn’t have to mean money: share your time, energy, or expertise if that fits. But be wary of being taken advantage of – remember to assess where your energy is going, and what you’re getting in return.
This isn’t said as a call to be selfish, but as you pile things on your plate, you do need to ensure that you get some sort of return or fulfilment from what you’re investing in. Giving is wonderful, but be sure to maintain your boundaries so that you don’t exhaust your resources. This may also be a week to ask for help when you need it; you don’t have to do everything on your own. So don’t.
Challenge for the week: Commit to giving something this week, whether that’s to your community, a friend, or a random act of kindness, do something that feels good to make the world around you a little brighter.
Two of Wands & King of Swords: This is a great week to really figure out what’s next, Gemini! Plan your next adventure, take those first steps, and don’t be afraid to dip your toes into different pools to see what fits. There is a tendency to stick with what’s comfortable, but I’d urge you to step outside your comfort zone.
Remember, there needs to be a balance between passion and logical mind. Your thoughts change quickly, but you need to realize that you are the one in control. You choose what thoughts you give power to: be the King. Be disciplined if you want success. Listen to that voice of reason, but don’t let it talk you out of following your passions.
Challenge for the week: Step outside your comfortable zone a little this week, and take the first step towards something new or different. It doesn’t have to be a huge undertaking; it could even be trying a new activity that you’ve been putting off.
Wheel of Fortune & Knight of Cups: This is your reminder, dear Cancer, that there are things in this universe beyond your control. Instead of trying to force a situation, allow things to happen. Change is coming, and it’ll go a lot more smoothly if you don’t get in the way. By going with the flow, you’ll be in a better position to welcome positive change into your life.
Listen to your heart to know the direction to take, but be wary of being too idealistic about a situation. Be diplomatic in your dealings with others, but remember that there’s nothing wrong with expressing how you feel. Instead of getting pulled into drama, seek harmony. You may need to step into the role of mediator, but do not allow your sensitivities to be taken advantage of.
Challenge for the week: Accept change as it comes this week. Give yourself a break to do something that gets your imagination going, and your creativity brewing.
Five of Pentacles & Judgement: Watch your energy and finances this week, Leo, as you may feel one or both are taking a bit of a hit. Be mindful of how you’re exerting yourself, and remember, you don’t have to prove anything to anyone – don’t make that a reason why you push forward when you really just need a moment to rest. While we know you’re more than capable of what you set your mind do, don’t be afraid to ask for help when you need it; no one knows you’re struggling unless you tell them.
Take time out for reflection this week. Where have you been, and how can that help you with where you want to go? This type if self-evaluation isn’t meant to chastise or criticize you, but instead to highlight experiences to carry forward, and patterns to break. Why repeat the mistakes you’ve made before?
Challenge for the week: Set aside time this week for self-reflection. Need help getting started? Reflect on what successes you’ve had, how you’ve achieved them, what struggles you’ve had, and what you’ve learned.
The Tower & The Devil Reversed: Change is coming this week, Virgo, and while it may not be the most comfortable of shifts, it most definitely is necessary. Don’t like surprises? Get out in front of it and make adjustments to areas of your life that you know are built on faulty grounds. Sometimes we have to knock down what isn’t working so that we can rebuild bigger, better, and stronger. Rebuilding is essential as we grow.
The good news is that these changes lead you to feeling less stuck, more powerful, and gaining a sense of freedom. The things that were controlling you no longer have their grip, whether that be self-limiting beliefs, thoughts, relationships, bad habits or addictions. Change won’t happen overnight, but you’re on the right path there. Just don’t be too hard on yourself if you slip up; we’re not looking for perfection.
Challenge for the week: Make three changes this week. They don’t have to be huge, life altering things. What’s a habit that you want to let go of? Stop yourself from indulging in it. What’s a positive change that you’d love to welcome in? Try it, and see how it goes.
Six of Wands & The Hermit: You’ve got some wins this week, Libra! Celebrate them, and allow yourself to be recognized for what you’ve accomplished. Don’t brush it off like it wasn’t a big deal; accept the praise and be proud of yourself! This is the time to bask in your accomplishments to keep motivation alive, and knowing that there is still more work to be done.
Balance celebration with moments of peace and quiet. Detach from the outside world, and give yourself space to go within. The answers you’re looking for are there, but sometimes you have to turn out the hustle and bustle around you to hear them. This is not the week to listen to the direction of others, but instead your own inner voice and guidance.
Challenge for the week: Make a list of five things that you’re proud of yourself for recently. Don’t be shy or hold back (you don’t have to show the list to anyone). But remind yourself of your wins so you’re motivated to keep on going.
Two of Pentacles & The High Priestess: It’s all about balance for you this week, Scorpio! Where in life are the scales tipped, and how can you bring things back into balance? Take a moment to look at your responsibilities and obligations – what are you juggling that you don’t need to be? What can you move to the forefront or what can be put on the backburner to give you a better life balance? Make adjustments, and keep on rollin’!
Trust yourself and your intuition to know what to keep and what to drop. You may find your logical mind piping up from time to time, but right now you’ll find far more success listening to your inner knowing. Can’t make a decision? Keep your eyes open for repeating messages or feelings so you know what option is best for you. It might be hard to see the forest through the trees, especially as you’re asked to reprioritize, but once you do, the uncertainty will ease.
Challenge for the week: Make a point to look at where your time and energy is going. Reprioritise to have better balance in life.
King of Chalices & Five of Swords Reversed: There’s a wave of emotions this week, Sagittarius, and while that’s not a bad thing by any means, make sure that you are in control. Stay calm, cool, and collected even in difficult situations – especially if you want to maintain more harmony in your relationships and life in general. Strike balance between heart and mind; this is where you will find success.
Use your wisdom and intuition combined to know when to walk away from conflict. While there is a desire to be diplomatic, it’s also important to accept what aspects of people cannot be changed – and realize that it’s not up to you to change them. Keeping your cool will allow tensions to ease, and you’ll find this week ushers in a new wave of peace to your everyday life.
Challenge for the week: When making decisions, weigh the options from both your heart and mind. Which way do they each want you to go and how can you find a middleground?
Death & Page of Swords: Endings are coming, Capricorn, welcome them with open arms instead of trying to delay them from happening. This is a time to shed the old and outdated, to make room for transition and growth. Don’t be afraid to close doors; when you do, new ones will open. Change can be uncomfortable, but you’ll be happier for it when you get through the other side.
The loose ends that are being tied up this week lead to new thoughts, and ideas. See where your mind takes you, but be wary of going too far down the rabbit hole. Ask questions when you need answers, and take a logical approach to situations. Look before you leap; there’s nothing wrong with being cautious, observe, think, then react.
Challenge for the week: Challenge thoughts that are preventing you from allowing endings to happen. What are you holding onto, and why are you holding tightly? What can you do to let go?
Two of Chalices & Eight of Swords: This is a great week to connect with the people in your life, Aquarius! Spend time with those that matter, and don’t be afraid to lower the mask. Be vulnerable, have those deep conversations, and allow yourself to feel the love and support around you. Allow yourself to fully feel it all, instead of looking from the outside in.
Stop second guessing people’s intentions and motivations. There is a tendency to wait for the shoe to drop this week, and while yes, it’s important to pay attention to red flags, make sure that you’re not inventing problems where they don’t exist. There are thoughts and beliefs that are keeping you trapped, but through being seen and deep conversations with those you trust, you can free yourself from them if you choose.
Challenge for the week: Make (and follow through on) a plan to spend time with someone who is important to you. Do something you both like, and allow yourselves time to enjoy in each other’s company.
Two of Swords & Three of Pentacles Reversed: Indecision strikes again, Pisces, as you’re confronted with options but aren’t sure which way you want to go. Take your time to consider your choices: weigh the pros and cons, and talk it through. However, make sure you don’t fall into analysis paralysis, because if you don’t make a choice, it’s very likely one will be made for you – take agency so you get what you want.
This is a week to really step into your independence, as there seems to be a lack of cohesion when trying to collaborate with those around you right now. Avoid some of the stress and frustration by stepping out on your own and doing what you know is right. Frustration will only lead to tasks going unfinished; keep things going and your motivation high.
Challenge for the week: When you get stuck in indecision, make a list of your pros and cons to help you decide what path is best. Make the choice for yourself; this is your time to step into your independence.
